KEI Advanced Inc. Signs Strategic Memorandum of Understanding with Nantong Normal College
Advancing Cross-Border Academic Cooperation by the Kawaijuku Group
On the afternoon of May 13, 2025, a delegation led by Mr. Katsura Ogawa--Director of KEI Advanced Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "our company") and Chairperson of Shanghai ARSEN Kawaijuku Tech Co., Ltd.--visited Nantong Normal College (hereinafter referred to as "Nantong") to engage in discussions aimed at establishing a strategic partnership.
This visit builds upon the foundation laid during a 2024 exchange, when a Nantong delegation visited Japan, signaling a new phase in the growing relationship between the two institutions.
The meeting was attended by Ms. Chen Yujun, Party Committee Secretary of Nantong; Mr. Du Yue, Party Committee Member and Vice President; Ms. Miao Xingxiu, Director of the Student Affairs Office; Ms. Hu Dongmei, Director of the Admissions and Career Services Office; and Ms. Ji Ling, Deputy Director of the same office, along with other faculty and staff. The session was moderated by Ms. Hu Dongmei.
Strengthening Trust and Advancing Practical Collaboration
At the beginning of the meeting, Ms. Chen, Party Committee Secretary of Nantong, warmly welcomed the visiting delegation and provided a comprehensive overview of the college's development, academic strengths, and achievements in international education. Ms. Chen remarked, "At our college, we place a strong emphasis on cultivating application-oriented talent, guided by an open and inclusive educational philosophy. We hope to build a long-term and stable framework for cooperation with the Kawaijuku Group in areas such as internationalization of education, faculty exchange, and student further education and career support."
Following her remarks, Mr. Ogawa provided a detailed introduction to the Kawaijuku Group and the business operations of our company. He emphasized, "Building on the success of the short-term study program we conducted with Nantong last year, we are now planning to further deepen our strategic partnership. By sharing and leveraging our respective educational resources, we aim to establish a collaborative framework that maximizes our complementary strengths."

Focusing on Three Key Areas to Expand Future Collaboration
Through practical and constructive discussions, both parties reached a consensus on three key areas for future collaboration:
- Enhancing the Short-term Study Programs: To further enrich the existing programs at leading Japanese universities, the two sides agreed to incorporate more hands-on experiences such as academic seminars and corporate visits. These additions aim to improve both the educational and experiential quality of the programs.
- Establishing a Framework for Faculty Exchange: A bilateral faculty exchange system will be developed, enabling educators from Nantong and Japanese universities to visit each other. This initiative will foster mutual understanding of educational philosophies and management practices and promote the cross-border sharing of academic expertise.
- Creating Clearer Academic Pathways: The two institutions will explore the development of a streamlined system to support students from Nantong in pursuing further studies at Japanese universities. This will provide students with more accessible and practical pathways for academic advancement abroad.

Bringing New Vitality to Japan-China Educational and Cultural Exchange
Following in-depth discussions, both parties signed a Memorandum of Understanding outlining a comprehensive plan for collaboration across various areas, including the development of short-term study programs, transfer pathways to undergraduate programs at Japanese universities, and cultural exchange initiatives.
After the signing ceremony, the delegations visited the History Museum of Nantong, where they experienced the institution's rich cultural heritage and its journey of development.

This strategic partnership is expected to bring broad opportunities for growth to both faculty and students, while injecting new vitality into educational and cultural exchange between Japan and China. Moving forward, both institutions will work together to build a collaborative framework that serves as a model for international cooperation, contributing to the cultivation of high-quality talent with a global perspective.
