Announcement of Signing Strategic Memorandum of Understanding with Hebei Oriental University

KEI Advanced Inc. and Hebei Oriental University Sign Memorandum of Understanding to Launch Educational Partnership

Collaboration with the School of Cultural Relics and Arts Aims to Promote International Academic Exchange and Cultivate Globally Minded Talent


On the afternoon of May 14, 2025, KEI Advanced Inc., part of the Kawaijuku Group (hereafter referred to as "our company"), visited the School of Cultural Relics and Arts at Hebei Oriental University (hereafter referred to as "Hebei Oriental University") to hold a meeting focused on educational exchange and cooperation.


Our delegation was warmly welcomed by Mr. Zhao Yingshu, Deputy Party Committee Secretary and Vice President of Hebei Oriental University; Ms. Qu Jianying, Party Secretary of the School of Cultural Relics and Arts; Ms. Song Zuomei, Vice Dean of the same School; as well as department heads from various academic disciplines.


During the meeting, both parties engaged in a lively exchange of ideas on deepening educational collaboration between Japan and China, advancing graduate-level education, and implementing concrete initiatives to support student career development.

Mr. Katsura Ogawa, a board director of our company, along with the visiting delegation, toured several of Hebei Oriental University's core educational and research facilities, guided by Party Secretary Ms. Qu Jianying and Vice Dean Ms. Song Zuomei.


The tour included visits to the Cultural Relics and Arts Museum, the Cultural Relics Conservation and Restoration Technology Integration Center, the Digital Application Technology Center for Cultural Relics and Arts, and the Intangible Cultural Heritage Conservation and Inheritance Center.


Following the tour, Mr. Ogawa expressed his deep respect and appreciation for the university's rich cultural resources, its advanced educational and research infrastructure, and its distinctive educational philosophy.

Following the tour, Mr. Zhang Yusheng from the visiting delegation of our company delivered an academic lecture titled "A Bridge to the World: New Opportunities in Japanese Higher Education and Career Development" for faculty and students of the School of Cultural Relics and Arts.


In the first half of the lecture, Mr. Zhang introduced the history and educational philosophy of the Kawaijuku Group. He then provided a comprehensive overview of pathways to graduate studies in Japan, highlighting the unique academic strengths and specialized fields offered by many universities. The presentation also covered application requirements and offered insights into potential career paths after graduation.

During the Q&A session, Party Secretary Ms. Qu Jianying and Mr. Zhang thoughtfully addressed a wide range of questions from students. On the academic front, they offered specific guidance on selecting appropriate fields of study based on individual interests, while comparing the academic structures of Japanese universities with those in China.


Regarding financial considerations, Mr. Zhang shared practical information about tuition fees, scholarship opportunities, and estimated living expenses in Japan. This helped students gain a more realistic and informed perspective as they plan their future studies abroad.

Following the academic lecture, our company and Hebei Oriental University held a signing ceremony to commemorate a new strategic partnership. This agreement aims to foster collaboration across a wide range of areas, including international exchange in higher education, career development support, and talent cultivation. Together, both institutions will work toward building a practical and forward-looking model for international education.

In his welcome speech, Mr. Zhao, Deputy Party Committee Secretary and Vice President, extended a warm greeting to the visiting delegation of our company. He went on to provide a brief overview of the university's development, highlighting its distinctive academic programs and notable achievements in internationalization. 


Mr. Zhao emphasized the university's dedication to cultivating high-quality, application-oriented talent with a global perspective, innovative thinking, and a strong sense of social responsibility--guided by its motto, "Cultivate Virtue, Strive for Excellence."


He also expressed strong confidence in the potential of the newly signed agreement to further deepen educational cooperation between Japan and China. Mr. Zhao shared his hopes that the partnership would enhance student mobility and career development, while laying a solid foundation for long-term academic exchange and mutual understanding between the two countries.

During the meeting, Mr. Ogawa of our company highlighted the achievements of the Kawaijuku Group in educational research, curriculum development, and various academic disciplines. He also noted the strong alignment between the educational philosophies and talent development goals of both institutions. 


Mr. Ogawa emphasized that this visit marks the beginning of a deeper collaboration, expressing high expectations for joint program development, faculty exchange, and student mobility initiatives. He further shared his aspiration to establish a new model of academic cooperation in higher education between Japan and China through this partnership--one that contributes meaningfully to the cultivation of the next generation of globally minded talent.

The two parties then signed a cooperation agreement.

Through this dialogue and the signing of the agreement, our company and Hebei Oriental University reaffirm their shared commitment to deepening educational collaboration between Japan and China. Together, both institutions aim to expand international perspectives and contribute to the cultivation of globally competitive talent.
