The KEI HEMRD is dedicated to advancing the expertise and knowledge cultivated by KEI Advanced over the years. We focus on researching, developing, and supporting management strategies across university education, research, and social contribution fields. As a true partner in university management—connected to both Japan and the wider world—we work alongside universities to pursue a new and promising future.

As a trusted partner to university presidents, chancellors, and other leaders involved in higher education management, the KEI HEMRD Institute will further strengthen its commitment to the following areas through research, business development, surveys, and advisory services:
- Formulation of long-term and medium-term management plans
- Support for accreditation and evaluation processes
- University rebranding and redefinition of institutional strengths
- Strategic student recruitment and student support
- Analysis of trends among high school students, prospective students, and current university students
- Planning and support for new program establishment, reorganizations, and applications
- Assistance with securing and applying for competitive funding

- Facilitation of inter-university collaborations, industry-academia partnerships, and high school-university articulation programs
